An already confusing time in life is being exacerbated by social media and information overload. Amidst an increasing backdrop in youth suicide and a formidable gap between poverty and privilege – the younger generation is struggling beyond measure.
Our world, economy and everyday life has been dramatically impacted by a shift in the global climate, the Coronavirus Pandemic and national racial injustice. The reality in today’s society is that there is a higher chance of our youth struggling with facing these issues then surpassing them unscathed.
Even in the best of times, the younger generation is fighting to find their worth and their place in this world. Our children’s drive is being tested and their education altered. Pair that with school shootings, unprecedented natural disasters and everything else present in today’s world, and we get a generation that is mentally unstable, physically unhealthy and afraid for their future.
Positive Presence Foundation can remove some of that weight on their young shoulders but helping eradicate teenage suicide and mitigate the negative impact of the CoVid Pandemic and the Mental Health Crisis.

All Funds Raised are in Memory of Marek Edwin Putman & Briana Jones
All funds raised are divided evenly amongst high-school aged and college-aged students in memory of two former students of Positive Presence Global who lost their lives too soon.

On Mother’s Day 2018, Marek passed away at the age of 16. This young man had an incredibly bright future. He could light up a room just by walking into it. His artistic talents came second to his love for his family – three younger sisters and his mom and dad that he left behind. Everyone who knew him loved him, he could make a stranger feel like his best friend in 2 seconds flat. Marek was a caring, compassionate and passionate young man with a heart of gold. Through the last few years of his life, he struggled with grand mal seizures - a diagnosis that was hard to watch him struggle with. He had these moments of bright clarity followed quickly by deep darkness that he felt trapped by but through it all, he stayed so strong and fought to embrace life. He will never be forgotten!

In August 2021, Briana lost her life in a tragic car accident at the age of 19. Briana’s tenacity was inspiring, her joy was addicting, and her love was intoxicating. Her essence was magical, and anyone blessed to have known her, even if only a brief moment in time, knew how genuine, kind, loving, thoughtful and compassionate she was. Her energy was so pure and it radiated all around her. No matter what type of day you were having, when she smiled at you, it was like getting a reboot, and all of your worries and stress melted away. This world is truly a better place because her grace touched it. The imprint she leaves behind through the lives she’s impacted is as if she lived 100 lifetimes.
