Young women of the next generation are in a very unique place in life. Amidst balancing societal pressures, these teens and young adults have become overwhelmed by the expectations placed upon them by their school, parents, teachers, friendships and most of all… by themselves. Being a young female is a challenging, volatile experience in today’s society, especially when doing it alone.
Positive Presence understands these challenges and struggles, and we actively train our mentor-coaches to help carefully peel back the layers with their female mentees to unlock their true S.E.L.F. As a result, they have attested to feeling more confident, positive and resilient post coaching. We have also received feedback from our families that their loved ones’ interpersonal relationships have improved along with grades, self-care and an increased focus on goal setting behaviors.
Each mentee is matched with a unique mentor-coach based on their needs, experiences, and goals, so they can feel comfortable and understood as a young female in today’s world. This connection to a strong, positive constant in these young ladies’ lives leads to a greater sense of self, higher self-esteem, positive body image and proactive mentality to mental health.

Since she was a teenager, Rachael has believed that young adults are our world’s greatest untapped resource of energy, talent, ingenuity, brilliance, and humor, and she decided then that her life’s purpose would be to help young adults achieve their full potential. After earning her Master of Education, Rachael spent six years teaching, learning, and laughing with high school students in the first project-based learning school in South Dakota. There she coached hundreds of students needing help with time management, goal setting, leadership skills, self-confidence, and growth mindset. She supported a neurodiverse, neurotypical, and sexually diverse student population who named her Teacher of the Year. She has also presented to hundreds of educators on topics such as using mindfulness in the classroom and encouraging students’ social awareness and activism across the curriculum.
Led by her passion to nurture authenticity and resilience in young adults, Rachael loves spending her days mentoring youth using her friendly and empathetic approach to personal development. Remembering for herself and reminding others that everything works out exactly as it should, Rachael has a wellspring of education, empathy, and personal experience to share with her students.

Missy is a revitalized mother of two teenagers who understands the resilience it takes to raise children in the midst of a global pandemic. She is a passionate mentor because she recognizes there isn’t nearly enough support for the overwhelming number of people silently struggling. Her sincere and compassionate personality is what makes her thrive as a coach and a leading member of our company. As our Sales manager she recognized that her role is to listen and learn as much about your child (or yourself) as possible. While listening, I am identifying a mentor coach that I believe your child will not only like based on their personality, but also one who has experienced and overcome similar pain points, and areas of opportunity, optimizing relatability. Ultimately, setting your child up for growth and fulfillment socially, mentally, and physically.
My Favorite Mindful technique is to Shifting Thought Patterns by focusing on the Grounding Technique. Starts with a big belly breath in. Then, you tap into your 5 senses, to quickly and effortlessly shift your current focus. Choose a sense- any sense, and count down from 5 (order or senses can be altered): 5 things you see, 4 things you smell, 3 things you feel, 2 things you hear, 1 thing you taste.
